Beauty Choice "prom look" Contest

i finally passed my permit test or as filipinos like to call it, the "written" test for what? DRRRRRRIIIIIVVVVVINNNGGGG! haha! and next wednesday, april 1st aka my best friend amanda's birthday.. is the day i take my first behind the wheel training session(: haha! yay! finally. i decided not to lag any longer. so ill be getting my license hopefully senior year around september-october? fashoooo then.

McHenry House Dinner Servers

yesterday, i decided to do some community service to get some points for one of my elective classes. it was on a saturday night from 5-10pm. i had no idea what we were gonna do except serve food. i thought we'd be serving food buffet style. (where people line up and we scoop some food onto their plates) but i was wrong. we actually had to serve food to tables kinda like waitresses and waiters. haha! everyone spit into groups of 5 and each group had 5 tables to work with. this experience was hard, tiring, heavy, and stressful. overall tho, it was pretty fun and now i know whats its like to serve tons of people.

this is the one phrase we had to say like 4563476538265987345 times that night:
"may i take your plate?" HAHAHA!

today i ordered a new hair straightener at beautychoice.com. it was on sale for $99.95 but i had this coupon code so that i can get 10% off that product(: so i used it and it ended up being $97.37. i know riiiight, hella gay. and tax was like $7. haha! oh well. and on the plus side, shipping was FREE because i spent over $50. this straightener doesnt just straighten hair, it curls it, crimps it, and protects your hair. sorta? haha! im excited to see this thing on my door step(: here's what it looks like:

This sucks.

i never really knew what it was like to have a "long distant relationship" since i used to see my boyfriend almost everyday. but now that i barely see him, i know what it feels like and things are getting hard. i miss him more. i want to see him more... it just sucks because i dont think my parents will let me see him until after a long time. (only because of what happend a week ago.. and no im not going to go into detail) but still ya know, i am still with him and they cant stop us from going out.. right? UGH. this sucks.

The secret is out..

well kinda.. at least my parents know now. i think they hate him. (i dont want to go into detail but its a long story) after they found out, his name never came out with their mouths again. so my parents and i havent talk about him except for one day. so now im wondering.. is it okay for me to hang out with him and tell the truth? 0_o

Epic Fail.

so its been a week since i last posted a blog entry. and my last entry talked about how i failed my very first permit test. well, today.. is a week from when i took that test. so that means its been a week since i took the test and now i can finally retake it; so i did this afternoon. my mom drove me to the DMV and this test was wayyy different compared to my last test. all the questions were different and it put me to shock cuz i heard from many people that they just take all 46 questions and just rearrange them. but then again, if you think about, thats kinda stupid. haha! so anyways, yeah.. i retook the permit test and i failed it again! i told you guys i would fail.. epically! ugh, i was sooo mad. i missed 9. to pass, you can miss 8 or less. i know what your thinking.. believe me. i said WOW too. haha! so now i have to wait another week or until the 17th (i believe) to take the permit test again. BOOO! =(

Quite an experience..

so today was the day ive been waiting for, for the past couple of weeks. its the day i get to take my permit test. it was quite an experience if you ask me. so let me tell you how it went, briefly. or at least ill try. haha!

My dad picked me up from school today and we went straight to the tracy dmv. it was probably my first time going into a dmv so the long lines and everything was all new to me. My dad and i were waiting in line to get a number and the lady asked if i have all my paperwork ready to take my permit, i said no. i didnt know i needed it, well i did, but ugh! i dont know. haha! so i had to go back home to get it. at least going back home made time fly by a little faster. then we get back to the dmv and next thing you know, our number is about to get called real soon. once we get called and im waiting to take my picture and everything, this lady pisses me off. not to be racist or anything but she was indian and she seemed really mad or who knows what. lets just say she took my picture at the wrong time. i hate her! haha. but man, that picture is embarrassing. almost too embarrassing for my own parents to see. haha! so then after the picture, i begin to take my test. it was really "whatever" to me but deep down, i knew i was gonna fail. AND I DID. to pass the permit test, you can only miss 8 or less.. (i know, i fail. haha!) but it didnt really hit me that i have to wait another week just to take it again. but oh well. so right now, im reading the drivers handbook and im going to try and memorize as much information as i can. when i got in the car, my dad was making fun of me. (i guess you can say..) but oh well, ill be ready next time. if i fail again, i will fail.. epically. -___-

Rin on the Rox

have you guys ever heard of Rin on the Rox? If you haven't, they are 2 girls from the bay area who post singing videos on youtube. They're videos have been getting tons of views and everything! I, for one am a big fan(: haha! Both Erin (Rin) and Roxanne (Rox) are filipino (Roxanne being half tho) are very talented and they have recently been discovered by Ellen Degenerous. They were also featured on tfc's Tv Patrol News. Ellen invited them to her show and she gave them 2 tickets to the grammy's! so they went, met a couple of celebs and on February 19, 2009, they were on the Ellen show again! But anyways, the main thing i wanted to point out is that youtube suspended Rin on the Rox's account so i havent heard from them since. Other youtube members have posted some of their videos up again, so check them out and show your support by leaving a comment in the petition video im going to show you as well. I might as well post some pictures of them too. (:
